Another day means more money to be made. Explained all the rules I follow yesterday and what kind of winners i’ll be giving out on the daily. We hit it big in the inaugural betting blog. Hit all 3 single games and missed the parlay by 1 (2 of 3). Enough of that though. Those who live in the past are bound to fail in the future.
Arizona Diamondbacks 65-55 (-175) @ Texas Rangers 53-68
Don’t usually like giving out a favorite much higher than -150 but lots of high Favorites tonight. Look for the Dbags to bounce back tonight after failing to beat Texas yesterday on a sub par Grienke outing. Corbin on the bump tonight has been their second best pitcher this year at 9-4 and a 3.15 ERA. Shouldn’t lose 2 in a row to the Rangers. Diamondbacks were the only team to let us down yesterday.
Miami Marlins 48-73 (+170) @ Atlanta Braves 66-51
Great value for the fish tonight at +170. They got swept in the day/night double header yesterday so I like them squeaking one out. Hard to beat the same team 3 times in 24 hours even if its the franchise that sells out every 5 years and Derek Jeter ru[i]ns it. But that’s just my opinion.
Run Line Favorite
Cleveland Indians 67-51 (-140) -1.5 @ Cincinnati Reds 52-67
Take the team with the logo formerly known as Chief Wahoo. Indians put a hurting on the Big Red Machine last night and I expect a repeat. Kluber finally stringing a few quality starts together should take down the Cincy lineup with ease this evening. Indians are 8-2 in their last ten with 6 of those 8 wins being 1.5+.
Under 9 Pittsburgh Pirates 61-58 @ Minnesota Twins 54-63
Two middle of the road scoring teams PIT(13th) and MIN(19th) expect this one to stay in single digits. Pirates have their
ace most competent man on the mound tonight in Jameson Taillon. The twins haven’t had a game go into the double digits in runs since August 6th.
Indians (-210) Diamondbacks (-175) Astros (-220) (+237)
Bullying up the parlay today with 3 of the biggest favorites. About half as high of a payout from yesterday’s parlay given but way more likely. All teams having a top 2 pitching option on the mound and are playoff likely’s. Talked about d’backs and Indians above only new addition is the Astros. Coming off a 4 game home sweep expect them to get back on those train tracks above Minute Maid Park. New future daddy on the mound in Justin Verlander. Would love to congratulate him in my old crush Kate Upton on the sex.
